The d'Angerville family acquired it in 1804. Guillaume d'Angerville, sixth generation, took over in 2003; his daughter Margaux joined in 2024. The steep, southeast facing vineyard sits at the highest elevation in Volnay on strongly calcareous, stony, clay rich soil with white marl.
