Kreuzberg Skulptur The idea for the flyingKreuzberg is a view of a building perched on the rim of a canal off the Spree River in Berlin. Francesca was deeply enthralled by this view as it presents a graffitied lettering reminiscent of Byzantine script. A landscape offering this juxtaposition, between the graffiti painted on the post war apartment building, next to bare winter trees, and ultramarine blue waters, is surreal.
